G-d promised the land to the "Puritans" so they took it! Same story, different players...watch out! Your place may be next. I can hear voices coming through as I type these words. BTW, the Yamhella band had their happy hunting grounds there, now honored (after being putdown) in the names of a lovely small town and the county; Yamhill. At one time Yamhill County extended all the way South to the California border. Do you remember the Thanksgiving story as told by Native non-Americans? "When the British showed up, they had the Bibles and we had the land. They handed us the Bibles and when we looked up they had the land and we had the Bibles." Happy Thanksgiving.
