I hear you, E. I think she "hates" in him what she "hates" in herself. Outwardly it masks as "identifying with his mentality". But what is that? Clearly she is uncomfortable with feelings...but I think there is a part of her that despises what she uses for her own defenses; and, of course, that is what she identifies with in the mentality of CH.
