Dear ET: IMHO that is entirely true. Even working people are having trouble. Insurance premiums are just plain going through the roof. Was isnt mentioned in that article is the number of people being FORCED to accept a LESS THAN DESIRABLE policy cause they can no longer afford a PPO or normal insurance. Deductibles are getting very high too. If anyone, of either party, ever comes up with an affordable insurance plan that offers decent coverage I think they are going to be a shoo in for election. Our family income exceeds 100k a year and we even feel the PINCH, I SHUDDER TO THINK what it must be like for "so-called" median income families. While I hate to think of it, this seems to me an area that is ONLY going to be solved with a National Health Care plan such as Medicare. jdn
