I quite understand anyone who feels comfortable having "topical" discussions with CH as though he were a decent human being. And he could be, if he were a remorseful one. There is redemption in this world! But as of now, recently, he has declared that he was Poet's victim; has declared that he knew for a fact that she had not been harmed and had to get medical help from his predations; and, this evening, has threatened to make me feel uncomfortable, as a campaign, with sexual conversation and allusions. I won't be having topical discussions with the dude any time soon because by my definitions he's evil and I wouldn't enjoy it. I'd be happy to drop the subject and just not engage with him or X if they would both agree to stop the provocative cracks. But I would no more talk about recipes with him than I would with Emile Vidrine.
