I realize that Jewel can get to be a dog- with- a- bone when something is bothering him, but he has not behaved with sheer hostility towards either of you. Clearly, he is not a fan, but his comments have been reasonable enough, and thoughtfully deployed, I think. The connection between your professed views and your behavior is not exactly a minor topic, in any case......

"So in reality, it's a kindness to him to dump on him." Somebody, Robert Barry I think, is fond of pointing out how kind he is in advocating infanticide. He says innocent souls are guaranteed entrance into heaven. So, when he commits infanticide it is helping the souls of babies get to heaven. These two positions seem to have a similar ring to them. Along with the one for the woman who is saying leave me alone. You know the "that means she really wants it" thing. patterns are revealing
