Can't tolerate those statements, can you? Figures. Frankly I can't stomach any organized religion. But I also respect the right of people to align themself with their beliefs as long as they leave me free to believe what I will. So to say that Islam is evil is no better than Muslims saying that Christians are same. Jesus, whose biblical life appears to have been noble and (I know very little of Islam, but) I suspect Mohamed may have been an equally compassionate man...it does not matter. 1.3 billion people must believe he was. Their techings have been distorted by these acrid, vitriolic followers, on both sides, who presume to follow their teachings, but incite us to hate each other on the basis of religion, and to do war and violence as if they were noble causes.
