"I don't think she ever did offer that. If she had, I think I would have noticed it."

I was refering to the proposal she submitted a an hour or so ago. I thought it seemed like a reasonable resolution if we all honored it. X already stated that she wouldn't be bound by it but if the rest of us cooperated or at least made an effort, it would improve the climate IMO.

"I'm betting she won't."

I don't think any of us regulars will until it is a unilateral agreement. The aftermath is totally out of the park since that involves lots of the perspectives and philosophies we have discussed that came out of the original discussion. Tangendentally it could include the universe of topics.

"At least not without some sort of trade-off." I will take that bet. You are making a huge mistake here. If you keep threatening to talk to her or about her on this sexual role playing or what ever it was, we will all deal with it and in opposition to you. E is not suffering from PTSD and would very likely go to war on it with no deals available.

"But I'll hold back on it for a bit and see whether E is actually willing to stop posting about the Poet situation without requiring some kind of blackmail in return. Maybe you can encourage her to go there? "

I would do more than hold back on it if I were you, I would give immediate assurances that you will respect her wishes and then do it, no strings attached. But then I am not you.

I don't think you need this to put the Poet situation to rest. In fact I think it will only make matters worse.

You never learn, do you? It's quite remarkable.

E's proposal. Don't know if it is still viable. X rejected it instantly and any proposal that would restrict her posting in any way other than the TOU.

"CH would like an agreement not to talk about the matter again. JLA, Laz, and Poet have already left it.

If I ask Jewel and Solon, and if they agree, not to engage on the topic further on condition that neither you nor CH make either direct or oblique, needling cracks about the issue or the parties involved, will you enter into such an agreement?"
