That was my guess - just wanted to nudge him to think about it for a second before judging HPQ as consorting with the enemy. The Vietnamese are not our enemy any more than the Japanese, Germans, Russians, Italians, Spanish, Chinese or anyone else than wants to coexist and thrive in a peaceful world. Even where a state might be hostile to us, like Iran, the people are not our enemy. Old grudges serve no good purpose. And there are plenty of people in the world (and within our own population) who, if they held onto old grudges, would forever be our enemy.

I'm in that category and there are substantially more corporate names that just those mentioned by you that I/wife won't go near.
