Of course, to sue a firm for biased analysis, you still have to specify damages. If an investment firm said something untrue about a stock, not only causing the stock to lose value but the company to lose business, then there might be a reason to sue for interfering with a contract by having published false information.

I look at the problem in a different light. Every time we see some of the downgrade nonsense, it is yet another buying opportunity. Don't complain about the stock being too low unless you're no longer interested in buying more.

Any idea about if IDCC is going to exprience the same explosive growth as the Q did in 2001-2002---i.e., via Ericcson legal stuff?
