Supposedly, Reid talked to Aikman but he wanted the starting job for the remainder of the season (including playoffs)

I like Troy Aikman but I'd have a hard time seeing a former Cowboy play QB for the Eagles. Plus he never ran a West Coast offense.

Any potential QB that they should consider should have some experience in this type offense.

This is McNabb's team, Aikman makes a living knocking McNabb.
He is a Dallas Cowboy head to toe.
I don't want to win any title by having Aikman as an Eagle.
I wouldn't even be happy if we won the Super Bowl with Aikman.
No way i want Aikman. It would just be glory glory glory Aikman, and he would be playing for a team and city he doesn't give a damn about.
In fact if Aikman came in, i wouldn't even watch the Eagles.
It would become a Media Circus focussed on Aikman, an insult i feel to the whole team. Pretty strong words but that is how i feel, and i think Reid will not do it, not even ask him. Max
