I admit i favor Foley for one i watched him at BC a lot, and now that he is MVP in Arena i know how tough he is and how much he wants another go.
He is is active and in shape, and hungry, as they say.
Powlus i would say yes to, but is he is playing anywhere???
On checking the net, it seems like he has done anything since Reid cut him in favor of Feeley.
Real enigma is that Reid kept Feeley in that he is a super sleeper. Basically a 2nd string QB in college.
Powlus was at least 4 years at ND and some ball in Europe(i see he did well in Europe--threw 158 passes without an interception, in 2000).
On reading more on Powlus it seems Beano Cook went into one of his looney frenzies saying Powlus would win 2 Heisman trophies at ND, and that is before he has even played, and then the hype just went out of control, really ruined the kids college days. Thanks Beano! Not!:) max
