Well, I think the captive audience argument is pretty weak. Clearly they knew what day and about what time it was coming; all they had to do was not look out their windows. And if they didn't want to hear, watch TV or put on a CD. Not onerous. No need to leave their homes.

Again, I think it was clearly obnoxious and intended to be so. But also again, that's the kind of case where the rubber meets the road in first amendment cases. What every first amendment lawyer has to accept is that you are ALWAYS defending unpopular and often highly obnoxious groups or people, since those are the only kinds of people who are threatened with censorship.
