I was responding to the context of a discussion with CH on responsibility. His query had to do with pushers and pushies. The core of my position is that we are responsible for our informed choices. Both pushie and pusher have complete responsibility for thier choices. When deception is involved then the pusher is informed about elements that impact the decision making process that are being hidden from the pushie. The potential consequences may also be hidden from the pushie. That raises the level of responsibility for the choices made and resulting consequenses for the pusher and lessons the responsibility for the pushie. As always the exact contextual circumstances for any situation are different but the general hypothetical should apply to analogous situations.
