US calls for tariff-free world We will never get it all, but it is amazing that our Government would call for it. I was going to comment on an earlier post about the smuggling of Textiles. I don't know why anybody in the US would go into or stay in the Textile business unless they have some sort of "Lock." Any kind of labor intensive light industry is just too subject to overseas competition.
