It is amazing how much we know. For example, I can tie a shoe lace, buy tickets online, read a highway map, and read most of a French newspaper. I could take a map of Europe with no labels and identify every country and capital in it. At Ellis Island, I passed the citizenship test with flying colors. I can drive from Chinatown to the Metropolitan Museum of Art without looking at a map. A French lady I talked to one evening in Paris said that my wife and I spoke exceptionally good English, since we were so clear she had no trouble understanding us. I can touch type, and I don't even know how my fingers do it. I can discuss most Platonic dialogues, and the major treatises of Aristotle. I am good at crossword puzzles. I can make coffee. I know how to use an ATM machine. I can button my own shirt. C-A-T spells cat......
