Evening SofaSpud, that's one of my favourite Monty Python routines!!! And I hate to show my age by agreeing with ‘oilmaster” that: << That is funny>>. Want to hear something funnier? (Maybe?) I spent the last 2 ½ years building an O&G web site, aimed at making communications between O&G companies and their stakeholders easier. Well, guess what: We just got booted out of our freezing office. (A former partner’s in the venture place – unfortunately, died on us before we got it going and the wife doesn’t appear to think as highly of us.) At the same time, our new head techie, a bright kid, now dying incommunicado somewhere, of a mysterious flue he picked up, (actually, half of Ottawa seems to be dying of it – serves the Kyoto-fresh air freaks right!), just turned the site live. So…. it just occurred to me that - what with this place being already half dead - it just might be the quiet place to announce the launch of OilPatch Updates and get a reaction from whoever is left. (Rocket Red excluded, I still can’t type fast enough. <gg>) Anyway, the address is: oilpatchupdates.com Check it out! Oh yeh or P.S. In the spirit of full disclosure - I’m still in ELH. (And that does not include my BIL - which would put us a couple of notches higher - but who’s counting? – when they’re hardly talking? <g>)

Kookaburra Resources Ltd. TSX SYMBOL: KOB:T VANCOUVER, Jan. 15 /CNW/ - The President, Graeme Robinson, advises that the Toronto Stock Exchange has notified the Company that it does not meet its continued listing requirements (e.g. market capitalization). The Exchange has granted the Company 120 days to rectify the situation. If this cannot be achieved within the time allowed, then the Company will be required to apply for listing on the TSX Venture Exchange. On a separate matter, the President advises that management is giving consideration to the Company acquiring a small working interest in a gas exploration project in Alberta, Canada. Due diligence is in progress as is an assessment of the funding required to participate in the play and the market will be advised once a decision has been made.
