Aramos, dijo la mosca al buey .... that's the very old spanish proverb in my bio, in english 'Let us plow, said the fly to the ox' ... can be taken in a variety of ways, more than you might think at first, use your imagination

West of the Rockies 24 May is still Empire Day in places ... also, 1 July remains Dominion Day to many

Yeah, we have something like that oxpecker up here...well, they are everywhere, actually. Cowbirds. They walk around on our horses' backs and even stand up on their heads between their ears. Actually, that might be a pretty good analogy. I was going to say more, but heck, you know something? I don't take these boards too seriously, and it's a nice, sunny day, so I think I'm gonna pack up the camera gear and go off hiking a few miles up on valley from here.

Ooops, one thing though. Situation with PQ is not so bad these days. Friends who live where I grew up outside Montreal, tell me that once Bouchard retired, a lot of the tension blew off. Seems so from what I see when I've over there.

Anyhow, too nice a day to waste indoors tapping on little bits of plastic. Gotta go.
