Trimtabs saying mutual fund outflows is contrarian indicator in this case. Trimtabs seems bullish going into to year end.

These guys base all market decisions upon on liquidity and not fundamentals/technicals.
They had a great track record for the past couple of years.

Mutual fund cash levels went up in October but lots of outflows from funds.

For them it seems the lack of supply is the key driver for this market right now. It seems obvious (now) that liquidity is the real driver of the stock market. THat is what Trimtabs has been saying all along.

Companies are also repurchasing more stock, especially techs getting into this in the past year or so.

I think they are right in their call.
