It would be heartbreaking to be that close after the mandatory recount. But that does not mean I would try to manufacture a victory (or that Bush would) like Algore attempted to do. The demo argument that "everyone else would do it" that they constantly use to support their lack of integrity is a lousy argument imo. You are too smart to say that you "know" what someone would do in a certain situation. Only those people know, and I suspect they would have been honorable Americans. Not slick lawyers looking for a legal favor. Have fun in Tahoe, and watch out for the crazies on the road (if you are driving). Hwy 80 can be a real stress producer during the holidays.
