Tip:

I couldn't agree more and I am quite light at the moment. Note as well my comment about not trying to pick the top and waiting to take a nice conservative bite out of the middle of what is likely to be a lengthy slide.

Best, Earlie

2nd leg up is starting -- gonna be like '98 with one crucial difference -- the END looms. I think lots of bears are getting ready for the surprise of their life in the coming weeks

First question: when did the first leg end? It's been a moon shot since early October with no pullback to speak of.

Second question: where are you seeing all of these bears?

Most of the "bears" on SI are capitulating and some are even long "for the ride on the trend". Even Schaeffer has turned into a bull. This is actually very bad news for longs as there will be fewer shorts to stop the slide when it starts and gains momentum. It is these late comers to the party and the bagholder longs that always pile on at the end that will be in a world of hurt soon IMO.

best...

>>Now we just got the 'last' rate cut (read that Bernanke speech in its entirety).

Yeah. Right before the "printing money" part, quite enthusiastically explained in the same speech.

He should be publicly flogged and shot.
