Well, in all seriousness, I'm finding as I gradually wade further and further into middle-age, I will sometimes skip a word here and there (typically "be/is/was/were/been" verbs)and I'll even miss on rereading that it isn't there, because I literally read/infer the meaning or "hear" the phrase correctly when I reread it.

I also habitually misspell "genuine" as "geniune", not because I don't know how to spell it, but because the muscle memory of my hand just seems to always "play the wrong note", like a macro that somehow got recorded wrong.
