foreign ownership:
TBonds 44%
Corp Bonds 25%
Stocks 12% and falling
Real Estate -- cannot remember

we in the USA are in control of neither the prevailing interest rates, nor the currency valuation
such is the fate of a debtor
the fact that a debtor nation is pulling the world economy represents the biggest paradox imaginable
which poses a very large risk

I think Bernanke speaks for AG on that issue -- the disclaimer about his own comments is BS. It's like the release last year about the treasury's willingness to intervene in markets -- first they get what mileage they can out of threats -- then they start doing in <ng>
