America has tried to keep North Korea contained. The US had been supplying North Korea with free energy supplies, for 10 years, in exchange for North Korea NOT developing weapons of mass destruction. North Korea is run by a dangerous brutal, lying regime that starves it's own people. North Korea also poses a real threat, and they have a much stronger and threatening military than Iraq. We could discuss all of the brutal dictators of the world in Iran, Cuba, West Bank and Gaza, Syria, etc., but it seems like the two "hot spots" right now are Iraq and North Korea, and the civilized world is trying to deal with both of them.
