of course, nobody ever suggests that it is because they already have too much debt and that the companies know that taking on more debt is just digging a deeper hole. First rule of thumb when one finally realize you're in a hole STOP DIGGING Just a few minutes ago... AG Edwards analyst on economic picture, via CNBC interview. <paraphrased> "I think the US corporations are finally believing things are turning up and it's okay to start spending again."
