Trading days before and after Thanksgiving are not good days to be short. I saw the statistics and they are about the surest bet to be up. Now to go short late on the day after Thanksgiving is probably a better bet.

OT - RtS, my short was intended as a ST scalp. Now that I'm gettin' scalped, I'll probably end up holdin' through Monday or longer. I was expectin' the market to rise in the AM and then begin turnin' back down. It rose much more than I thought and it's unlikely I'll see break-even today. I change my mind frequently on these ST trades and I may end up usin' some insurance cash to cover the play before the end of the day, but for the moment, that's what I'm thinkin'. Regards,
