Al >Freedoms taken away generally come from the left

I agree. All the same it seems that traditional left/right alignments are no longer valid. I am aware that most posters on the thread have a loathing for the Democrats and I certainly understand why. I, too, don't like the left especially the cloying liberals with their nauseating "holier-than-thou" posturing. But, unlike other posters, it seems I am both prepared to and able to find fault with what your present government is about. In fact, there's no doubt that certain "freedoms" are being and have been taken in the name of whatever.

Perhaps what we are witnessing is all part of the NWO, I really can't say. Certainly, what happened in SA with the ANC takeover was the result of "big brother" interference otherwise there was no way that a bunch of rabble could have pushed out the previous government. Of course, one doesn't want to always turn to "conspiracies" to explain otherwise inexplicable events but there seems no doubt, to me at any rate, that what we have witnessed throughout the world in the past year+ makes no sense unless one postulates something of this sort.

>Once we allowed Social Security numbers to be issued it was a done deal. They could track virtually anything about us back then.

That's why I say that soon all of us will be on the same data base! Maybe we are, already!

Al >can't have a statue of Moses in your hometown park, --- can't sing a Christmas song at school

I think you might find this piece interesting. It's by Charley Reese, someone whom I hold in high regard.
