The biologists I knew as friends, almost all thought the way I do. It may be a simple biologist/rest of the world, type of split.

Or it may have to do with religion. There weren't a lot of religious folks in my biology classes. They find the evolution stuff hard to take if they come from certain religions. I can't remember any religious people in any of my study groups except for one Catholic, who wasn't very Catholic (Catholic for mom and dad, but not really for herself).
