There is no such thing as perfection in the way we share information. We should be able to get the gist of what posters are communicating without it having to be an exact syncronization...except maybe when we are trying to define a term in an exact way. Even then we bring perspectives to the exact definitions. It is true that people sometimes just drop things or shmooz out of politeness. That is pretty obvious when it happens. There are checks for understanding, levels of understanding, agreement and disagreement, etc that we carry on as we post and clarify for one another. It is very obvious when there is confusion about what one another is saying. Like I said, with you I assume it is a ploy to make things more difficult than they need to be, but I don't "know" that for sure.
