Interesting about the Coatimundi. When I was in Ramsay Canyon a couple of winters ago, I spoke with a biologist who was doing research on them. He looked like he was feeling just a little chilly that day, wrapped in a blanket and sitting in wait for a Coatimundi to emerge from under the foundation of an old cabin alongside the trail.

And yes, things have changed along the borders, especially the more secluded park areas. Also rather odd, but it seems that most of the effort to patrol is actually farther north of the border in line with Sierra Vista or maybe even a little north of there.
