JUSTA, AJTJ, after careful analysis I concluded that:

(1) A trend is your friend and BPCOMPQ makes the trend:
stockcharts.com[w,a]waclynay[d20021007,20021127][pc20][iUb14]&pref=G

(2) Let your winners run (winners always go with the trend):
stockcharts.com[w,a]daclynay[d20021007,20021127][pc20][iUb14]&pref=G

(3) Cut your losers fast (losers always go against the trend):
stockcharts.com[w,a]daclynay[d20021007,20021127][pc20][iUb14]&pref=G

In other words:
(1) determine the trend,
(2) trade with the trend in longer time periods,
(3) trade against the trend only in very short time periods if at all.
I swear I read all this in some book a long time ago. Still,
Justa, why didn't you remind me of this in October? Shame on you! And you, Ajtj, you are guilty here as well! <ggg>
