Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you NNBMers have a fun and safe day.

We are having wifey's folks over for dinner.

It should be fun.

Since I've been doing much of the food shopping lately, I got my own A&P Supermarket Super Savings Card. We "earned" a free turkey. So I picked out a 21 pound turkey.

What I didn't really know was that would probably feed twice as many people as we are having...

Looks like we will be eating turkey for the next week or so.
I don't mind.
I love those hot open turkey sandwiches with stuffin and gravy...
And Turkey soup with the left over corn, peas and carrots, etc...
And Turkey Cacciatorre with a side of spagetti...
And Turkey Salad sandwiches on toast...
And bacon and eggs with Turkey...
And Kellogs Frosted Flakes sprinked with Turkey bits...
And ...

I'm looking forward to some of the appetisers.
Often times I prefer them over the big dinner.

I hope there are some good football games today.

The Redskins vs the Cowboys and the A19 Patriots vs The powerful Detroit Lions.

Detriot has this rookie QB named Harrington. Sports Illustrated says he could be a good one. We'll see.
Two young guns in a Turkey Shootout.

Maybe the boys and I will see if we can do our Joey Harrington and Tom Brady impressions at half time in the crunchy snow.

No John Madden today. Nor his 4 legged Turkey...

I think the parade starts soon.
Gonna try to get the boys to watch it.
We usually miss it due to the long drive up to the Adirondacks each Thanksgiving.

Have a fun time and remember to eat too much.

I hope wifey bought some Tums...
