They are pretty consistent at being too bullish on all of their numbers and then revising downward. Seems almost intentional but I'm sure that isn't the case. I think the market is more irrationally exuberant now then it was at the peak. At the peak you could still make an argument for top line and earnings growth making big PE's reasonable. Now all they talk about is the numbers need to confirm the "hope" people have of a recovery. I think hope is setting us up for some real pain.
