<Trotter out for season with torn ACL> a quote from Trotter << ``My foot just got caught in the turf,'' Trotter said. ``I didn't get hit by anybody.''>. This quote is where i need an expert in injuries to explain ; and that is how come this dreaded ACL injury oft it seems happens "just out of the blue". Buckhalter, in practice simply running a pass route, a no contact practice; and bang he collapses to ground in pain JB do you remember<i saw it happen> when Kenny Durret collapse in agony and he was doing nothing but running on a breakaway fast break?, and out for season, reason ACL.

OT---Sixers. i love Dikembe Mutombo(great fellow!), but Sixers made the right move to get Van Horn and Todd M; Nets got him for same reason we got him, to hope he can get them that World Championship ring--he got us close, but his age is just a negative.
I have been checking out the 2 unknowns, Greg Buckner and Brian Skinner, and feel they really have strengthened their bench with these two.
I saw Skinner in an NCAA game once for Baylor, and he was a one man team for them---he was really impressive in that one game.Max

JB i am going to rooting for Ohio State against Miami.
To stop their winning streak would make the Big10 the Numero UNO conference.
Sooners 47 game streak i have always thought was unbreakable, btw.

Looking into the future, this looks like the last year Douglas will be an Eagle. By making his 9th sack this year, he becomes a Free Agent next year, and we already know the Eagles will stiff the fans and NOT sign him.
Pathetic, but true about this franchise. Max
