I haven't been there yet... although I do like the concept of an outdoor mall (Stanford is outdoors after all)... but it would have to be off the beaten path and not at a major intersection where you can hear the traffic!

Remember a few months ago there was a fire there... only one of the bldgs though. Given the economic climate for high end residential builders in SV, a fire seems mighty convenient... but since it was only one bldg and the project opened anyway maybe it was a legitimate accident, who knows.

There's no way they are going to be able to rent for premium prices in San Jose now. There are tons of new rental complexes that are completely empty having just come online.
