Another sign of age and things to come!!! Excellent article. We know Paterno's normal approach over the years
has cost us. Most always he has been right and we've all held him high for it.
His escapades this season may swing the votes away. OR the voters might feel sympathic to LJ cuz a pigheaded coach made him ride the pines for 3 previous years.
One thing....winning or losing games....we can plainly see when things are being done right or wrong. If Johnson gets the Heisman, his comments (back two years ago echoed true and spoke for us all) should be engraved on the statue. And Paterno should kneel and kiss it, because this season has extended his coaching career another 5(read 8) years !!!!

Carson Palmer is beginning to make some noise - that's not good. I'm not sure I can root for a ND victory so I guess I'll just hope for a bad day for Palmer in a winning effort.
