FYI: the consensus among historian, including non zionists ones, is that the Pals came from Cyprus or Crete on boats, most probably Phenicians' chartered.

The Pals settled, (did I write settled!?) on the coast, while the Jews were already inland: Judea and Samaria mainly, and their capital was Jerusalem.

There is no record of any Pal (Philistine) name: sheikh, caliph, king, senator or general besides Samson, who I must admit, sound like a legend, or rather, a proto-mossad hoax.
