Terrorists used old German missiles - FBI
By Daniel Nyassy

The two missiles fired at the Israeli Arkia plane were old German-made weapons, the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has said.

They said the two missile launchers were in the category of Stringer Shoulder-fire Launcher Marc 4 but which they described as "strange".

An FBI officer at the scene said it was strange the launchers were painted blue and red which is not their original colour.

The officer, who declined to be named, said more FBI agents were on the way from the US and Nairobi to carry out further investigations.

One of the launchers bore the number 9617, 338806033160.

Two launchers lay 20 metres apart about 400 metres from the airport perimeter fence. This is along the Northern part of the airport near the Jomvu landing lights.

A local resident said at about 8.15 am in the morning, he saw a white unmarked Pajero vehicle driving towards the bush, heard a blast moments later and saw the vehicle driving off at high speed. He said the occupants of the car were none blacks.

The scene of the missile launching was heavily guarded by members of the General Service Unit (GSU), regular police, special branch department and National Intelligence officers.

....can freedom of religion be far behind in saudi arabia?

I remember a Russian coworker telling me a proverb : "When shrimp whistle on the mountaintop".

You do know there is a mosque and Islamic center in Rome ? The Catholic church allows that, and is scorned for it's weakness. I'm still waiting for a Catholic church in Mecca...

Quatar has been much more generous lately, as Christians can meet informally and quietly provided they inform authorities of their intent to get together. That's on a par with another bastion of liberal democracy, mainland China..
