Any sensibly invasion force would try not to bomb the hell out of a Muslim country before then, if they are a little bit concerned about pretending to be doing this for the people of Iraq. Then comes Christmas period for the US and any sensible administration would rather have the public out spending money than eating chips in front of CNN all day, watching the latest on the war front.
