Lying on an Internet information form is an offense under Section 123, subsection V, article ii, of the Criminal Statues Of Ontario, defining fraud, misrepresentation and unlawful utterances. It states, to wit: "willful deception, or presenting a knowingly false statement in an electronic medium with intent to hide identity or present a false identity, in order to achieve illicit gain, some other benefit, tangible or intangible, or with intent to usurp the lawful authority of a designated electronic identity gatheror, is a fraud and punishable by not less than 5 years, and not more than 50 years penal servitude on Anticosti Island as a potato farm-labourer and lap-dancer at the Resort for Government Ministers."
