A basic distrust of elected officials is what makes America great. Here in Canada we elect people with no chins and even less character. It really is pathetic how we worship elected officials. Of course dems and fal's do it in the states to a small degree. Happy T day...

Simply wrong. or Tributes to the Grandmaster Heinlein was not a "warmonger". I chose Sergeant Zim to present Heinleins views on war, not because other characters don't have them, but because in Heinlein's own words, Zim is the..."the best sergeant in the fleet". This is a quote from Expanded Universe, a book that Heinlein specified was to be released in two countries only, the United States and Canada. He felt that this novel "washed the dirty laundry in public". No author has made a more valiant stand for peace, decency and honour. I quote from the Grandmaster... I wrote nine articles intended to shed light on the post-Hiroshima age and I have never worked harder on any writing, researched the background more thoroughly, tried harder to make the (grim and horrid) message entertaining and readable....Here are three short articles, each from a different approach, with which I tried (and failed) to beat the drum for world peace. Was I really so naif that I thought I could change the course of human history this way,? No, not really. But, damn it, I had to try!
