polvo i urge you to watch. be informed. tell them you appreciate their public service... and most importantly, tell them you are watching them. funny you should say that. currently in our constituency there are a large number of people who are unhappy with the performance of our elected member of the legislative assembly. our member and other members were elected with the proviso that if the people were not satisfied with the performance of their MLA, they could institute recall procedures and have another person serve in their place. user.dccnet.com should the residents of delta be successful in this recall, it would be the first, and would serve to show all elected officials in BC that if you don't put your constituents voice above those of your party, you will be recalled. period. she was towing the party line - did not stand up for the people of delta and i'm going to sign the petition for her recall. aside from that, it was a gala event. there was an auction, and a silent auction (wayne donated several pieces which went for more than the valued price). there was food and booze and all of the private business interest groups were there along with the volunteers who sacrifice so much time for their community - just like in albuquerque. in other words there was a lot of schmoozing going on - and lots of flirting. it's amazing what you see when you stand back and watch <g> had wayne and i been on the ball, we could have set the village abuzzing, but alas, we didn't <g> you've got to take your focus off clinton and put it on finding another of like mind. roso
