I would like to know where all of this projected buying power will come from. Mutual fund cash positions are at record lows. Record bankruptsy may force Joe Six Pack to take some of his money out of the market to pay rent. The older generation will not get burned again (they have more sense than most of the younger generation) and give their hard-earned money to the wall street crooks.

Contrary to what the Fed and CNBC claim, factory utilization rates continue to plummet, maximum productivity has already been squeezed out of the over-worked and underpayed factory worker, the employment picture is worsening, private and corporate debt continue to skyrocket and home refinancings can't continue unless the fed moves to negative interest rates.

People can only afford so many SUVs at 0% financing before they're unable to pay the principle on their loans.

The only short-term positive effect is the Fed printing money as fast as they can chop down the timber and slap some green ink on it. This is not a way to lead a slumping economy out of a recession/depression. Current sentiment not withstanding, fundamentals rule in the long term. Warren Buffet is no idiot (although he really should get some different glasses <g>).

best...
