Max, it's not deliberate! You are using a 4 yr old operating system which was in fact an upgrade to a 7 yr old operating system designed to run with 4 MB of RAM. Things move fast in the computer world, A 4 yr old OS is like trying to run a 50 yr old car - it's gonna break down. The longer it is on your PC, the more software you use and the more web sites you have been to then the more clogged up that old system becomes. It's just time to upgrade. I think you should buy XP. I say that despite being short some MSFT!
