Max choose the "Run command" off the start menu and type "regedit" and press OK.

You see a program with a tree on the left and items on the right like explorer. Expand the tree to the folder below:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Then delete anything to do with QT from the right hand side. Don't delete anything else or do anything at all if you don't understand these instructions. That regedit program can do a lot of damage if used carelessly.

Then delete again from the startup folder if necessary and reboot. That should be the end of the problem.
