uniforms.. most of us didn't have them.. maybe a shirt.. couldn't afford it.. got some merit badges but it was not high in our troop. Mostly it was bean bag game ... like capture the flag.. or throwing the bean bag to hit another one at the other end.. line up, two teams... throw the bean bag to hit one on the other team.. get down to one on each team from maybe 10 or 15.... I think the schools banned it now... It is unfair to throw a ball at someone else they will lose confidence in themselves if they get hit.... I wonder how the little guy felt when he won...? didn't learn about the gunpowder in scout meeting it was from the kids after the meeting... during smoke breaks.
