Rhoze,

<does one of your family members live in
NH or did you all gather at a resort >

I built the house in 1987...it's a post and beam (Timberpeg) house. My grandpa and grandma had a summer place there and I used to go there in the summers. Some land came available and I was fortunate enough to have been making some great money at the time...so I bought the land and built it...very impulsive. It's on a lake at the foot of Mt. Monadnock. It's so quiet there. The house has lots of open space downstairs so it hold many people and a huge fire place. It has a deck and a screened in porch.

I used to lease the house whenever I went broke ( which was a few times) but now it's all paid for...nice feeling. Don't know if I'll retire there....it real rural and not commercialized cause there's no ski mountains (southern NH). There are telecommuters living in the area mixing in with the original hill town locals. Interesting place.

The house is on a dirt road with tall white pines, ash, oaks and maple. The air smells sweet.
