John, after last Dec. 31 when we'd been up on that day for 30-years, but we ended up down, I threw out all those seasonal probabilities.

Speaking of time and price, one thing that might come into play is a 9-month cycle high from the March 11 high. I've been keeping that one in the back of my mind all week, and that Gartley you posted nails that date.

Have a great weekend too, John!

In the fall of 2000 the market declined hard into the holiday season, than rallied for some 3 weeks in January, only to start falling again into the late March – early April time period, right when according to the “seasonality” it was supposed to be strong. Seasonality or whatever, in this business one has to be careful.

I presume that if the market gives now a sell signal on the daily MACD, that would be a strong danger sign for the followers of the method. I would like to know how Sy Harding, the chief seasonality guru, would act in such an event.
