Barron's missed the run up on their prior advice... like where they say they still maintain their sell. g

BARRON'S sell rating on QCOM is one of the best buy signals I know of. They've been consistently wrong over about 7 years. If you look at what they recommend in the article, you'll see that BARRON'S apparently ignores the difference in profit margins between companies in the commodity business, contrasted with companies that have considerable intellectual property. This, I think, is their key mistake when it comes to QCOM. They simply don't see that as more service providers move to 3G, the stuff inside the plastic cases will include a QCOM chip, or QCOM will get royalties from most every handset sold.

I am very grateful to BARRON'S for making it possible for at least a little while longer to buy QCOM at bargain prices.
