Other Peoples Money
or
Capital Abuse

How do you vote on SI, the mechanisms of expression are quite different in this land. Existing here is voting, we are all members of the same political block. SI was started so investors could participate in financial discussions, the community that has developed has ranged much further and explored many issues surrounding our voluntary existence. The questions you pose have no simple answers, I have rarely commented on real mines on SI but I can offer you this, if you started Wildcat I would miss your posts on SI, I would give you the money but for this.(primarily for that reason but also because I have no money. I have no money but on the other hand I have learned a valuable investing lesson - a successful moonshot consists of planned re-entry.)

There is a reason for Tim Hortons success, for about $2.00 USD you can get a cup of coffee, a bowl of soup and a doughnut of your choice. Their "Sprinkles and Minestrone Empire" will crumble when everyone realizes that you can get exactly the same menu, sans choice, at the Salvation Army for no cost beyond dressing scruffily.

beliefs, why people (or) escape confusion & flee ignorance
.
"The trouble is belief. What do people believe."
(no)
When people do not know what to believe, they obtain beliefs.
The trouble is the state of weakness one is in when one has
no clue what to believe, and this another chicken & egg question,
as the circle traveled between cluelessness and weakness.
(example)
A weakness, in the state of clueless confusion, is EC's questions.
