LOL..i'll eat anything...
but i think restaurants are a valid point to inflating food costs..as their costs of goods rises so do the costs to the consumer..much of their costs are due to increasing labor costs...but the same holds true for the costs of production of all food..you have to factor in the costs to grow it, harvest it,prepair it, package it, transport it...do you think those costs are going down?

i disagree, tommaso.

food is not cheap, not unbearably inflationary as in the 70's but not cheap.

prices continue to edge up (at least where i live) maybe junk food is cheap, but i don't buy that stuff...

fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy..wine (notice the tax increases?) are costing more. a box of saltines is three bucks for cryin' out loud..<g>

fat food is always cheap. you can buy a box of 60 microwaveable pizza slices for $ 5.
